AOSW Leadership in Oncology Social Work Award
This $1,000 award recognizes an exceptional member of AOSW who has significantly contributed to the field of oncology social work and demonstrated leadership through administration, education, clinical practice or research. This award also provides up to $1,500 in reimbursements for hotel, travel, and conference registration. Submit a nomination.
AOSW Conference Scholarship Application
AOSW Conference Scholarships defray the cost of conference attendance for five members of AOSW who need financial support to attend conference. The $1,000 scholarship includes complimentary conference registration and a stipend to assist with travel and hotel costs. Submit an application.
AOSW Naomi Stearns National Conference Scholarship Application
Established to honor the first AOSW President, Naomi Stearns, this $1,000 scholarship defrays the cost of conference attendance for a member who has demonstrated commitment to the profession, including AOSW activity. The scholarship is supported through generous donations of supporters, including our own members. Submit a nomination.
AOSW Kim Lawson Conference Scholarship Application
Established to honor AOSW President Kim Lawson, this $1,000 scholarship defrays the cost of conference attendance for an AOSW member who has demonstrated commitment to the profession, including pursuing a PhD or DSW as part of your professional development. The scholarship is supported through generous donations of supporters, including our own members. Submit a nomination.
AOSW Volunteer of the Year Award
Established to honor AOSW volunteers, this $1,000 award provides complimentary registration to AOSW Conference and an annual opportunity to recognize an exceptional, experienced oncology social worker and active volunteer of AOSW. Only AOSW Board or Committee Members can nominate someone for the Volunteer of the Year Award; the Awards Committee cannot nominate anyone for this award. The award is presented to an oncology social worker who, in the day-to-day delivery of compassionate service, is a model for the profession itself. This award is supported through contributions to AOSW. Submit a nomination.
