Vicki Loise, CMP, CAE, has resigned as AOSW Executive Director effective December 14. Emily Burch will step into the role of Executive Director on December 15.

Emily has a Bachelor’s degree in human services with a minor in communications. She has worked for Kellen, AOSW’s management company, for nearly 11 years and in case management part-time while in college. Emily also serves as the Executive Director of the Association of Death Education and Counseling (ADEC), with whom AOSW has co-hosted webinars.

Jordan Burghardt will continue with AOSW in her same role as Member Services Manager. Jordan can assist you with any questions you may have regarding your AOSW membership. Vicki, who has accepted the position of CEO for the Society of Laboratory Automation and Screening (SLAS), stated, “It has been my honor to serve as AOSW’s executive director for the last three years. It was meaningful knowing that my work helped support people who serve others in such a meaningful way. You make it very easy to be a passionate executive director!”
